I really wanted to like this book。 There were some good elements such as a twinship (who doesn't like a book with twins in it?), a serial murderer, and an amateur sleuth。 But the dialogue was stilted and there were sometimes too many details that seemed like they were just there to flesh out the book。 It was a quick read with some interesting twists, just not as tight as I would have liked。Thanks to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for an advance reader's copy。 I really wanted to like this book。 There were some good elements such as a twinship (who doesn't like a book with twins in it?), a serial murderer, and an amateur sleuth。 But the dialogue was stilted and there were sometimes too many details that seemed like they were just there to flesh out the book。 It was a quick read with some interesting twists, just not as tight as I would have liked。Thanks to NetGalley and Inkubator Books for an advance reader's copy。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this book, and I will definitely read more from this author。 This book was easy to get lost in and it follows Stella and her husband, and a serial killer on the loose。 What turns from a hobby in understanding killers, leads Stella to a dangerous path and questions if her husband is the killer。 Add a pregnancy into the mix, and the story takes off。 I loved this story, and I was surprised by the ending。 I would definitely recommend this book。

Stella is succeeding in life。 She has a great job in marketing and a new husband she is completely in love with。 She also likes to investigate murders along with her friend Alan, who is on the police force。 This book is a great mix of Stella’s professional successes and her hobby。 The twists are incredible and keeps the pace of the book going strong。 A great book to read if you like domestic thrillers with unexpected characters。

To make matters worse, men are turning up dead and mutilated。 Could it be the work of a serial killer? Why is David acting mysterious and suspicious? So many questions fill this fast-paced and twisty plot that kept me on the edge of my seat racing to the shocking conclusion。 Thank you Booksprout for my copy。

How is she allowed to see the dead bodies? How is she able to tag along? Why does no one else on the scene have an issue with this? What about the possibility of damaging evidence?
